Hobbies: Roxy likes to play pool with her friends or going to the movies. When she is by herself she can either be found drawing, watching anime, reading manga or comics or working on her webpage. When it comes to novels she used to read RL Stine, Christopher Pike, and LJ Smith when she was younger but has always had a love for Edgar Allen Poe. One of her fav books now is "The Da Vinci Code". Roxy also likes to hang out at the beach or by the pool to work on her tan. Roxy's dream job would be working in a musem or on site an a dig site.

Cultures: Roxy has always been fascinated with the ancient Egyptians, Romans and Greeks but in recent years has become interested in the Japanese culture.
Personality: Around people that she does not know Roxy is a very shy and quiet girl. She does not mind if she has to be by herself and likes her alone time which comes from being an only child. If she is in a big crowd and does not know anyone then she can be a wallflower. To her friends Roxy is crazy, funny, unitentionally flirty, a dancer, a thinker, and mysteriously dangerous. Roxy is perfectly fine hanging out in her room by herself or at a museum. Sometimes the simple things are hard for her to understand which frustrates her friend and co-workers but eventually she understands. When Roxy is around you never know what could happen. Nothing could happen or anything at all could happen.

Piercings: Roxy got her ears pierced when she was young. She has worn the same rainbow circle earings since 9th grade but occassionally changes them for certian events.
Tattoos: Roxy has a purple rose on her right hip [link] . She got the tattoo in college when she was 21. Roxy had wanted a tattoo since she was in high school and finally decided to get one after work one day. So she went got a friend to go with her. At the time the rose did not have a big significance for the halo over the rose did as the college she attended had angels as the mascot. Looking back now the rose reminds her of the rose that is on the giutar that the lead singer of Poison plays when they do the song "Every Rose Has Its Thorn".
Present History: After going to college for four years (2001-2005) and getting a BA in mathematics with a minor in computer science Roxy now works at a doctor's office as an office assistant. She has been there for almost a year and a half. She got her degree and minor so she could work on computer by creating and working on webpages but knows that she would be perfectly happy working on a computer even if it is not creating webpages. Even though it is no her dream job working in a office suits Roxy just fine becuase she is at a computer all day and when she was younger she always saw herself as an assistant to someone in some big office.

Skirt: There is no waist band. The fuku body and skirt flow together seamlessly like on Sailor Cosmos' fuku. Seven ribbons woven together and tied around her waist like a belt and the ribbons are tied in a knot on each end but leave enough for the two ribbons of each color to hang off her hip on her right. (ie. like Jupiter and Venus had belts int he manga)

Crystal: Alexandrite Crystal [link] The Alexandrite stone is a stone that changes color depending on which way the light hits it. This is her becuase you never know what side of her personality the light is going to hit and expose.
Princess Dress: Black sleeveless form fitting floor lenght dress with spagehitti straps and trimmed with a rainbow band. The back is low cute and laced up with a fine rainbow ribbon. She also wears a rainbow ribbon tied around her waist.
Mission: Sailor Rainbow's mission is to find out what happened to the senshi of this solar system after the final battle. What was so tragic in the final battle that cause the Moon Princess to go insane? Where did the senshi disappear to? Why does the purple haired shrine maiden at temple near her house have a box that she seems to care for more than her life? Who is the man with the long white hair that seems to be following her lately?
Henshin Wand: WIP
Henshin Phrase: "Rainbow Power Make Up!"
Henshin Sequence: As Roxy yells "Rainbow Power Make Up!" her hensin wand appears in front of her. Grabbing her wand her nails become painted a deep purple. Bringing the wand high above her head a rainbow band shoots from the wand covering her chest, mid-section, legs, and hands. As the first band fades to black to create her collar, body suit, skirt, boots and wrist length gloves a second brighter rainbow band shoots from her henshin wand. Like the first band the second rainbow band covers her chest, mid-section and legs. This second band creates the rainbow bands that trim her collar and the rainbow belt around her waist. Near the end of her henshin sequence a white ribbons shoots from her henshin wand wraps around her neck to form her choker and then forms a white bow on her chest and a white bow at her lower back. Lastly a glowing white jewel appears in the middle of her forehead to create her tiara while at the same time a bright pink heart jewel forms on her choker.
Introduction Speech: "As complex as the many colors of this world you will be shown the light for I am Sailor Rainbow!"
Attacks:
Rainbow Flash She holds her hands down together and as she slowly moves them apart a sparkly flash of rainbow light appears. As she bring her hands high above her head the rainbow forms a circle around her. As soon as the rainbow makes a complete circle the light shoots out at her enemy blinding them and showering the enemy with sharp shards of rainbow crystals.
Rainbow Shooting Star Gathering energy with her right hand raised abover her head forming a star while she says "Rainbow Shooting...". Pointing toward her enemy the star is released as she says "Star". The enemy is hit with a multi colored translucent star and right when they think nothing has happened the enemy is bound by the rainbow tail of the shooting star.
Rainbow Petal Huricane Powering up her attack as she says "Rainbow..." she is spins with her arms high above her head as a multi colored rose appears. "Petal..." her her hands are striaght out in front of her as color of the rose changes quickly. As she says "Huricane" the rose turns into a swriling funnel of multi colored petals that engulf the enemy slashing like a thousand blades.
Rainbow Daggers Seven daggers that very in size which are worn around a belt on her waist.
Rainbow Dagger Chakram Made from her seven Rainbow Daggers. As the Chakram spins through the air it leaves a rainbow trail. Upon hitting the enemy lashes out seven different colors and hits the enemy seven different times. The eighth and final hit is the rainbow trail that was created wraps around the enemy bursting into many rainbow sparkles leaving a pile of gray dust where the enemy was.
Rainbow Whip An attack in which Rainbow uses the belt around her waist which can expand in length if needed.


I created the name Sailor Rainbow back in 2001 when I first started having my art posted on 's site [link] and I have been trying to create a persona to go with the name. When I created Roxy earlier this year I thought she would be perfect as Sailor Rainbow. I know that both names Roxy and Sailor Rainbow are not unquie but that is what I thought of at the time. Sometime character just name themselves and you do not have to take loads of time to think of a name.
Sketched, inked and colored in two days.
I keep trying to get Roxy long hair but I just can't color it correctly.
I will go back later and add a background. I want to add a side panel with her crystal and her henshin stick. Originally I was going to make her brooch be like Usagi's and have her transform with it but I have deicded that I want to create a henshin stick for her.
Some of the things below attain of when she is not in senshi form. Will eventually write a small story about her.
Overall I am very pleased with how this turned out.
EDIT: June 20, 2007 Thanks goes to at for the suggestions on helping me write a better profile for Sailor Rainbow. I also looked at other profiles on the review page to get an idea of what other information might be good to put in a profile. I spent three hours reworking her profile trying to make it flow better and make her a more rounded character.
